I had purchased a similar necklace for my 14 yr old last year. It didn't last long so I honestly didnt have too much expectation for this necklace, but figured it would be nice for a few times. Surprisingly this necklace has lasted her a so far a few weeks, she has not taken it off and it has not discolored or discolored her skin. The chain is nice and sturdy, the word plate is very thick! definitely worth it. I wished they would make name plates tooI received this product with a promotional discount in exchange for an honest and unbiased review. No compensation for a positive review was provided.
